DREWSDIME
Man do I feel like a dumb ass! I have had my 68 4 door back for a few months and have not drove it much since its been lowered. The wheels were squeeling every once in a while but not that bad. Then today I was driving my car to my buddies house so he could do an alignment for me and on the way it sounded like it was getting worse. We check the alignment and it seemed to be good, so we jacked up the car to find my drivers side control arm bushing wa s pretty much gone! I guess its time to put the adjustable control arms and tension rods on and replace the rest of the bushings and ball joints. Fucking scary to see how much my wheel was moving around when we jacked up the car. I learned my lesson to really inspect all the bushing and steering parts before driving. Quote Link to comment
