Dee
Just have a few questions. I have a chance to get some 'universal' type sleeve-overs for $50 but I was wondering what are the diameters of the strut-housings on a 280z? and is it even worth going through the trouble of cutting up my strut housings because all I really want is for my Z to drop about 1.5" to 2" all around and get rid of the 'jello' feeling. once I achieve this I wont be touching the adjustments anymore. Would I be better off with lowering springs & aftermarket shocks? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
SHADY280
i really dont like those cheap sleeves. the spring rates arent all the same and wear out fast. id say the best method is to spend the money on a good sleeve kit, or buy new springs that have a real spring rate. performance costs money, id hate to see someone screw their car up with cheap evilbay crap. dont get me wrong people do it, i just dont know how the longentivity is.
