I have a pdf of the manual for an s14 and it has that tranny in it under the manual transmission section. I need to use th enumber to tell my tranny guy so he can source me a clutch, i also need a part number for the rubber shift boot on the tranny and the slave cylinder. thanks!! Quote Link to comment

That is a trans that also came in the 84-89 300zx non turbo models, if that helps? Im looking for one for my vg30 swap:) Quote Link to comment

The tranny has nothing whatever to do with the clutch selection. The clutch/pressure plate has to fit the engine flywheel bolt pattern. I have no idea what flywheel size was used on the DET at least a 240mm like an S-32 I would imagine. Our S13 and S14 only came with the KA motors so this must be an import Silvia motor? I believe the FS5W71C was the transmission used with it. Our S-13 240sx parts: Clutch arm boot.................... 30542 01S00 Clutch slave 11/16".............. 30620 35F00 through '90 Clutch slave 3/4"................... 30620 18V01 through '93 Clutch slave 3/4"................... 30620 69F01 '93 on... Im looking for one for my vg30 swap:) Yes it's the same transmission type but with a 4 cylinder bolt pattern. Also the 300zx would have a different output spline size than the 4 cyl. I have found lots of clutches online but they are either cheap knock offs or high dollar puck clutches. Anybody ever use ACT? Quote Link to comment
