I own 71 510 Datsun, i have a fuel cell in trunk and i was wondering how will i know how to get a right gauge for fuel tank. My stick method is really not what i favor. Previous owner run looks like ground and sender wire to front of dash but took fuel gauge out and put a boost gauge. thank you Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted February 22, 2011 Report Share Posted February 22, 2011 Measure the resistance through the sender when full and empty. If about 10 ohms full and about 80 when empty any Datsun/Nissan gauge will work on it. Quote Link to comment
