:lol: I know I've posted the pictures of the KZ once before, but just in case I'm just forgetful this is what take up my time when not working on the datto. It is an 81 Kawasaki kz440, I call it a glorified scooter.

 

 

When I first brought it home, was okay nothing wrong with it.

seat cover is fucked honestly so got rid of it.

Got me some clubmans, made the bike a lot more fun to ride in the twisties.

Had a nasty oil leak, so needed to regasket the whole engine.

Got the head off and carbon everywhere!

Just shortly after I regasketed it I drove it around.

Diaphragms in the carbs decided to fuck up so replaced them with some chinese mikunis

So yeah basicly I've fucked up a perfectly fine motorcycle, but I'm totally cool with it myself. Most either call me an idoit for it or like it, I ride it without a care.

.....hows it fucked up? It's PERFECT. She could almost be called a cafe racer cool.gif Needs a cafe seat tho. And less trim. Maybe a fairing? Sex.

 

 

 

 

Reminds me of my 73 Honda CB biggrin.gif. Frame was painted with caliper paint, engine was rebuilt from the pistons to the transmission, and only had 2000 original miles on her. God I miss her :(
