datzenmike Posted December 26, 2010 Report Share Posted December 26, 2010 I'll see if I have a picture of a known J13 tranny. Yes. If you look at yours you'll see that the center line casting on top of the tranny goes up to the engine and is equal distant from both bolts to the motor. If from an L series that casting line would be over closer to the left side. Also the 521 L series trannys had a flange on the output spline that is bolted on like this... . Link to comment
