inda bebe Posted December 9, 2010 Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 just bought this 86 nissan 720, lights from the cluster and rear driving lights do not work, however the signal and brake lights DO work. how would i trouble shoot? the bulbs and fuses are fine. whats the next step? relay? which relay should i check or how do i test it? datsunaholic Posted December 9, 2010 Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 Do any of the running lights work? The cluster, tail, and front clearance lights are all on the same circuit. "Tail Lights" does NOT include Brake or turn signals... they're on separate fuses. If they are all out it's one of these: 1) Fuse 2) Fusable Link 3) Headlight Switch (which includes a relay inside the switch assembly on that year I believe) Or a major wiring disaster. 1 Quote Link to comment
