Hey I have a pair of mikuni's I want to build a intake for for my l16. So if anyone has any pics or measurements of a l series intake for mikunis I could really use some help thanks.

Why not go with a already built manifold? It will be cheaper in the long run.

I want to make my own and if I can do it cheaply enough I want to start selling them. I want to start making and selling datsun parts. So I thought this would be a good place to start.

with all of the already available ones around you wouldnt have much luck selling them, unless they were dirt cheap. even in the 60's and 70's they did engineer stuff pretty good. woul dyou be casting these out of aluminum? you will need to get one to make a mold from.

I was gonna try and make them outa stainless steel.

Here's some for you. I'm still planning on modeling an actual flange for these in CAD, when I do, I'll send you a dimensioned drawing or something. It should be within the month (it's low on my priorities).

You'd be better off making them in thick wall aluminum tube as the actual shape of the runners is quite important.
