fairlady66
So we started the take down of the 510 over the weekend. We took everything out of it so it all could be replaced. Unbelievable, under the so-called carpet was cork board glued in. Then behind the headlinner jammed between the top frame and the metal was a new/unused Nissan hood badge, the fuel filler neck is duct taped with glue on the rubber hose patching holes. But all this is no biggie, easy fix. However as we replaced the struts we found that the right tie-rod had been broken and welded back together keeping its curve from the break. So now I need to find a tie rod for the right side of the car. Anyone have any ideas? This is registered in the JCCS and I need a tie rod to make the tip to Long Beach. Let me know if you know of any leads on this part. It's a 1972 510 Wagon. Chris Quote Link to comment
