AkiraFactor
I was cleaning the filter on my 83 200SX and looked in the airbox which I was also cleaning the inside of. The bottom of the box has a rectangle shaped opening with the airflow sensor there. Has anyone tried porting the air box to removed the hard corners with a dremel by the airflow sensor? datzenmike
I wouldn't, unless you have a spare. There's a small 'flap door' that is pushed open by the in-rush of air. The door is attached to a variable resistor and this variable resistance is in direct proportion to the amount of air that enters. The computer (ECU) uses this info to calculate the fuel needed and sets the injector pulse width. Still want to mess with it? Quote Link to comment
