Tyler
Being cheap, I wanted to find an affordable filter for my newly acquired stacks. Let me know what you all think and what changes should be made. My main concerns are: 1. Safety (spit back from carbs) 2. Filtration 3. Durability The filter is made of a piece of shop vac sock filter sandwiched between two screens. Quote Link to comment

Tyler
No idea on the micron number. I was hoping the package would have given me a little info on that. Those bill filters are sweet! I'm going to run my setup for a week or so, take them apart and check them out. I may change the shop vacuum filter to the filter foam used in lawn mower air cleaners. Quote Link to comment

That's what I was thinking at first. Anyone have any experience with just running a screen type filter? Quote Link to comment

Anyone have any experience with just running a screen type filter? i had planned on the Pierce Mani filters, but for $70+, i just put the K&N's back on. def in the future plans though! too much crap on the roads here, plus the sand (being near the beach) to run w/nothing Quote Link to comment
