dat521gatherer Posted June 5, 2010 Report Share Posted June 5, 2010 has anyone ran this setup? i have the air cleaner adapter but when i put the original air cleaner my hood wouldn't close. i have one of those 2 inch tall carb base adapters that i'm going to swap out for a regular one but am wondering if it'll fit after that? 1 Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz) Posted June 5, 2010 Report Share Posted June 5, 2010 PM Mike Klotz. he had a write up making the stock aircleaner work by not using that adapter that goes on top of the DGV he made a plate for the bottom of stock aircleaner. but your right the DGV is higher. But stock ac is queiter and not as loud as the DGV ac. plus ezer to buy new filters than cleaning them. 1 Quote Link to comment
