Braden
hey guys this tranny came with my 620 when i bought it and i am getting around to putting it in, what i need to know is what it actuaklly came from the factory in to make sure i get the right seals etc. im guessing alot of the stock 620 4 speed seals and crap will all interchange but i just wanted to make sure, this tranny has no numbers or anything on it that i can find, and the casting on it seems sort of rough, anyways any thoughts/input will be appreciated P.S. anybody know where to get a gasket for the input shaft cover plate???? and also does anybody have a pdf of a manual for it??? datzenmike
It's consistent with a non California '77 or '78 620 tranny and similar year 280z or 810. Quote Link to comment
Chris#51EPGraham
I have one exactly like that which I personally pulled out of a '78 810 coupe. I also have Haynes manual for the '73 - '77 710 with an appendix section that describes rebuilding that trans, suggesting that it was also used in 710's. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Haynes manuals are full of shit. I mean they have errors. :D The 710 used a longer version of the 510 F4W63. Like this brand new one from the dealer 4 spd. for the 610/710. Quote Link to comment
