72nismo Posted May 17, 2010 Report Share Posted May 17, 2010 Can someone tell me how to remove the quarter window bracket for re-chroming purposes on Datsun 510 ? When unistalling do I have to replace weatherstripping around window?? I know theres 3 screws you take off but after that not sure what to do? :mellow: Someone let me know. arkitekz Posted May 25, 2010 Report Share Posted May 25, 2010 I did this a while back and I believe I had to take window completely apart to get this out. Now after that, there is a spring and pin holding the moving hasp and part that was in window your describing. My suggestion, try to find a way to polish it while its on the window unless you need to replace weatherstripping. Good Luck Quote Link to comment
