Des Moines Marina all torn up still!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok folks, I checked it out today and the Des Moines Marina is mostly all torn up for construction....you can enter on S. 223rd off Marine View Drive, to the north lot which is now very small and there is no place to set up for eating unless you walk/park a bit farther north, which has only about 8-10 parking spots. You could get trailers into the lot, but would be a bit tighter. Should be room for at least 50 cars, if well parked.

Anyone else got any other ideas?

Tana, read the first post about this event. The South Marina Park is on the SOUTH end far away from the construction.

Nobody needs to enter on the north side. There are 500 parking spots on the south end.

This map shows the south parking lot that is not under construction.

Just talked to Bleach and the Planet of the Datsuns will still be held at the south end of the Marina, and you enter by the Red Robin. See you there, Tana
