creo_27
Whats up guys. A good friend of mine down the street from me recently inherited a '73 240z that is in superb condition with about 50K original miles on it. Unfortunately (or fortunately for someone) he does not have the room or money to properly take care of it and he is looking to sell it. I'm more of a dime guy but I know z's are loved, especially when they are in good shape. Can you help me help him price this out right please. Thanks guys. I think I got it now Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Can't see a thing. Quote Link to comment
hughdogz
If it's as nice as you say it is, I'd say at least five grand (if not more due to the low miles). Check out this one...it's pretty nice and probably not in as good of condition as the one you're referring to. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/1683010274.html Quote Link to comment

creo_27
I got it up now, what do you think? I haven't seen it personally but my buddy says the inside is as nice as the outside. Quote Link to comment

creo_27
Super clean right? With the panasports and everything. I'll ask for more of the story behind the car. I know it has had just one owner. I'll be back with more. Quote Link to comment

beebeecivic
Wow that one hell of a Z. If the paint is original you can go upwards of 5k + easily. I say put it up on ebay and see where it goes . I estimate about around 10k so if its that clean. Quote Link to comment
creo_27
I agree, $10K atleast if it is as clean inside as it looks in these pictures. Quote Link to comment
hughdogz
I'd say eight grand realistically. The economy still hasn't recovered yet, and unless you can find someone in the midwest or east coast to buy it, then it might be up for sale for a long time. Check out the brown 240z in Salem: http://www.autotraderclassics.com/find/vehicle/vehicleSearchResults.xhtml?utm_source=nada&utm_medium=links&utm_content=nada8&utm_campaign=partnership+links&startYear=1973&make=Datsun&model=240Z&address= It looks nearly as nice and about $7k and also super-low miles... hughdogz
 I love the black interior! Much better than "barfer-scotch" (butterscotch) in that brown 240z I linked... Hopefully I can buy either one with my tax return, lol  Quote Link to comment
creo_27
I know, I love this Z. I like that the speedometer reads 90 m.p.h. at the half way point, this thing has wheels just to brake... it really just wants to fly. Quote Link to comment
