racerx
I am in process of changing my suspension/bushings several are bad. Do I need any special tools to change them out? Is there anything I should look out for? Thanks.... Quote Link to comment

racerx
Is that because bushings are embedded in there really good or the nuts/bolts? Quote Link to comment
benzo
or access to a press as some if not most bushings need to pressed in and out. Quote Link to comment
butcherboyjc
I just did the front control arms, tie rods and radius/strut bars bushings. If its for a 510 I bought the bushings here I went to my local machine shop and he charged me 25 bucks to press out the control arm bushing, remove the tie rods from the center link, the pitman arm from the centerlink and the balljoints. Best 25 bucks I spent, my brother has a cheap tierod remover from autozone and it kept slipping off and not taking them apart. Quote Link to comment
