DragNDestroy Posted March 21, 2010 Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 I am working on converting my 77 KC to a 79 ball joint suspension I've already torn the front on the 77 down completely and am gonna start pulling the 79 here shortly. I was wondering if anyone has done this swap and is there anything i should be aware of? mods, etc ...... anything helps Thanks Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted March 21, 2010 Report Share Posted March 21, 2010 The frame where the lower control arms mount is different between the two. Sorry but it's not a matter of swapping arts. They will swap, but the steering and suspension geometry will be all wrong. If it's disc brakes you are after: option one option two Quote Link to comment
