hulk210
so i picked up a set of old american racing vector wheels, 14x7 with what i believe to be 0 offset, and i paired them up with the 280zx struts i picked up last week. i was looking to see if i had brake clearance before i mount the struts. turns out im going to be rubbing. what wheel size/dimension should i be looking at in order to clear those 280zx brakes? MicroMachinery
280zx's had 14" wheels from the factory. Is the rubbing issue minor enough that you could clearance the calipers with a small amount of grinding? Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
I would try that before I went out and bought a new set of wheels. Quote Link to comment

benzo
how close are you to rubbing. for me I got some ssr wheels and they hit the calipers but I ended up using my rotary grinder and just shaved a bit off the calipers and it cleared my wheels. if your wheels are rubbing so slightly maybe you can do the same Quote Link to comment
