Don't Buy Wholesale Closeout

Recommended Posts

So, Back in July I bought a brake master cylinder for my 72 1200 and everything was going great until about 4 days ago. It started to get harder and harder to stop (the pedal was easier and easier to push). I figured I needed to bleed my front brakes being that I had taken them off recently. When I tried to bleed them nothing would come out any of the bleeders. So I took the master cylinder off to examine it on the bench and it turns out that the seal on the front brake piston is bad. I Called Rock auto where I had purchased it and they looked up my order. It turns out that I bought a wholesale closeout part with a 30 day warranty. I wish now that I had payed a little extra for a part with a warranty. To make it worse anyone in my area has to special order one from the factory...

totally unrelated but I know how you like pictures and friend of mine sent me this.
