1979 510, hard to find?

Found one here locally with ac and 5 speed, just wandering what a good price would be. They said it needed a real good tune up, but there is no rust and it's the wonderful brown color.

Because they weren't considered a "collectors item" most HL (A10) cars are long gone to the crusher. They weren't "rare" when new, they sold a TON of them. But in Alabama they're be quite rare.

I think the reason most ended up in the crusher is because of how they look...there are generally fewer people that are into the late 70's and early 80's datsun/nissan products.

 

I personally sent a '80 wagon to the scrap yard after swiping the drive train and anything else i found useful.
