just picked up these wheels

I was searching craigslist and found these wheels. They were off a Chevy Tahoe. They are 17" X 9" or 9.5". The guy said they were Micky Tomson's but they aren't. They are MB Wheels - Precise.

 

The truck in the pics isn't the truck the rims are going on. it just happened to be the one I'm driving and I could check clearance and fitment at work. I plan to use tire size 225/35/17. They are really short and thats what I need for my 74 thats lowered.

Lucky its winter, that gives me some time to save up for some tires. I normally run 215/38/18 on my 74. Trying to find a tire wide enough for 9" rim and near the same hight as my 18's was difficult. I used http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp to find out the width and hight I needed in tire size. I think this sight will help alot of people decided which tires to use on their vehicle.

The truck on the hoist is just a rusty Datsun I put together out of 3 Datsun's headed for scrap yard. I use it for a winter beater.
