Nice140Y
hi, I am thinking of getting a pair of these BMW elipsoids to go with my Benz yellow lights. The elipsoids would go on the outside (low beams) Can anyone tell me how to wire these babies? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
yellowdatsun
US spec, or the euro smileys? US spec is easy and you can figure it out on your own. The Euro spec smileys are a pain to get the right connectors and wires for. 1 Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
That's US spec. The DOT is one indicator. Another would be a section missing that resembles a "smile" when you look at it(which yours does not have). Google "Smiley ellipsoid". But more than anything, the fact that it says "DOT" on it means that it was authorized for use in the US market. Quote Link to comment
