Thats exactly the problem but I dont know if they sell the rubber donut seperately... I thought the carrier bearing came as an assembly. I want to put a one peice driveline in eventually.... So i figured why not look while the truck is down.... Where can I get the rubber? Link to comment
datzenmike Posted January 31, 2010 Report Share Posted January 31, 2010 I don't think it's available anymore. It's now made of unobtanium. I used a 1" strip of rubber conveyor belt belt wound around the outer bearing surface. Wound it around enough times to build it up so it would clamp down and hold in place and trimmed to suit. It worked so well I stopped looking for a replacement for it. Cost zero for the rubber. . Link to comment
