Ridge Racer
Would I have to weld new engine mounts? What all would have to be done to get the engine from my '92 240sx in a '79 620? Quote Link to comment
BEEBANI
I just modified the original mounts that were on my ka to match the rubber part that's mounted to the 620 frame. If your motor is a front sump like mine; you have to modify the steering link to fit around the oil pan. Are you going to use the 240 tranny? If so, you'll have to modify the x-member and I think the driveshaft? (help guys) and you'll have to modify the wiring, which is pretty straightfoward. Quote Link to comment
Bleach
Read through this http://forum.ratsun.net/showthread.php?t=40 This goes through the install of a Hardbody KA24e rear sump into a 620. Icehouse talks about the differences between that engine and the car (240SX) KA. Most of the swap info is relavant to what you're asking about. Quote Link to comment
