Ruster
Greetings from Maryland (baltimore). My name's Ruster and I'm from MD. I'm a diehard Datsun owner, having owned a 280Z and a 280ZX. I'm currently without a Datto, but hopefully that will change (I've still got parts from both of them in my apt!!!!:D) I found this site after googling 'Ratsun', since I liked my Datsuns with a patina and always wondered if there were likeminded people out there. Looks like I've found my place:) I hope to have a good time here. --Ruster Quote Link to comment

Ruster
@ everyone: Thanks for the warm welcome:) @ qwik510: Honestly, I'd love another S30^_^ But I'd also be happy with a 510, 1200 or roadster. I'd prefer something that I can ride and wrench, same with my previous Dattos. I'm patient (but on a tight budget), so right now it's simply right car-right price, I can wait if need be. --Ruster Quote Link to comment

qwik510
Cool. Lots of Maryland Datsun owners. We need to get together and do a cruise. Quote Link to comment
Ruster
I'm always down for a meet..........just need to find a car first;) --Ruster Quote Link to comment
Chris#51EPGraham
Howdy, Dave. Lots of members in Maryland? I only just joined so I haven't gotten that good at geographic searches....or is 5 or 6 of us a lot? I've lost track of local-ish SCCA people still racing 510's, other than myself. No. I've lost track of myself too because I only raced one event in '08, none this year, and most of my hoard is for sale. To the other fellow with no car for a cruise: I spotted a viable looking project 510 on Craigslist > Fredericksburg VA which I posted a link to on that sticky thread for Craigslist finds. It's way overpriced, but ya never know, the "recovery" is curing most of us of last year's pricing tendencies. Quote Link to comment
Chris#51EPGraham
Just realized I landed in mid-thread. Ruster the OP is who I was pointing out the Fredericksburg 510 to. I'm probably the newest one here, so greetings to everyone on the East coast and not only Maryland. Quote Link to comment

Ruster
I've seen that 510 for sale before on another forum:) I'm seriously thinking about it... Only bad thng is that it's a non-runner....I'll still give him a email:):) --Ruster Quote Link to comment
Chris#51EPGraham
$2000 is a pretty unrealistic with the head off in run of the mill condition with some rust, but you never know, maybe he's sane enough to bargain. The last one I bought was a good running near stock 4 dr from CA with minimal rust for $500 during boom times. It was was devalued by a bad grey primer paint job on top of another bad paint job + minor electrical problems. My avatar is that car after a lot of work. Quote Link to comment
