Braden
do not sell to the guy at school, sell the motor and especially the 5 speed on here, us ratsuners could use it alot more than the guy at school, seperate the engine and tranny and sell them separate in the parts for sale, i would price the motor at about $100 and the tranny at $150, you could sell things like the manifolds and carbs seperate Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Look on the top of the block just below the head behind the dipstick handle. Will say L20B. If the exhaust and intake manifolds are bolted together under the carb it's no older than a '77 for sure. The tranny isn't very clear in the picture but the 5spd. was available starting in '77. Braden
what are you going to put back in your truck???????? keep the motor, build it, throw on some dual carbs with that 5 speed and a good clutch and call it good!!!! Quote Link to comment
TrevDaddy
Damn, now I want to buy that thing. 5 Spd, L20, low miles... I could build the shit out of it, get a couple side draft mikuni's or webers, and a sick exhaust, for prob under 2K. How does it run? I wanted to go EFI with a KA24, but that thing is tempting.
