slayer
question would a RB20DET fit length wise in a 620? i know dwnshfter had one he was going to do but does not look like he ever did. if it will fit what would be the power advantage over say a ka24det? izzo
i think its too long. i dont know for sure but inline 6, man. lol. pretty sure you will have to cut shit to fit it in there. or maybe run a radiator in the bed with elec fan???? Anyone know the measurements of the RB vs l20? Pretty sure with the L24-28 they were to long and it required some decent modding/welding. Quote Link to comment
skunk
cant remember were i saw it but i have seen a 620 with the rb, they had to cut the crap out of the fire wall, and yes they had to put the radiator in the bed along with a custom oil pan and some serious crossmember work. and thats just the engine, not %100 sure but i think i remember somthing about the tran not fiting so great. but with money and time it can be dont, just seems like alot of work. would be sick tho Quote Link to comment
flinterman2000
Even if you run the radiator in the tray, you would need to cut the firewall, redo the engine mounts refabricate the tranny mount and reposition the shifter in the cab. it could work and add about 40 HP and 60 ft lbs torque. 72240z
Would be one of if not thee most pointless swap ever in a 620. Quote Link to comment
