drastic520
is it possible to use a hardbody spindle on my 620? i would like to use a pair of lowering spindles. or is there any other option? would i need to swap more than just the spindle? thanks!!!! Quote Link to comment
butcherboyjc
I believe you can, the late 620 has the same ball joints as the early 720's and belltech drop spindles can be used on early 720's all the way up to the hard bodies. On the early 720's you ave to use spacers on the caliper. I think it would be better to install the drop spindles and and change to a hardbody hub assembly. That way you wont need the spacers and you can run bigger disks and calipers from the V6 two wheel drive hardbody. Quote Link to comment
Guest DatsuNoob
They WILL work, you have to use the matching A-arms also though. Basically all the front 720/HB susp components Quote Link to comment
drastic520
thanks guys. after posting my question, i got off lazy mode and did a search here. it looks like i need the hb caliper, rotor and hub to make it work well. am i right? and yes im going with the v6 ones for better stopping.... BEEBANI
except, that there is a difference in the caliper mounting between the 720 and the hb. So make sure you get matching parts depending on what spindles you get...i.e. hb spindle; hb rotors, calipers, hubs, etc. They won't mix and match very well. Quote Link to comment
drastic520
yeah im going to take the whole assy from the hb. rotors, calipers, hubs and spindle. i may even look into a 5 lug conv since im doing all that. i should be doing my reverse 4link set up soon so i may just use a toy rear and do it up. im interested to see what its gonna look like with my 20s on. i measured the stocks against my 20s and they are exactly the same. so hmmmmmmmmm; Quote Link to comment
