I followed the write ups on HBZ, I printed them out and read them over and over before I started to make sure I knew what I was doing when it came down to doing it. Good luck, its well worth the time and effort.

Well I have a MAS on it from the Z31 and yes stock injectors. It really blows black in the morning, but thats probly cause its cold. When I pull up to a light or something I see a cloud of black smoke go past me and while driving i just smell the richness. I also dont have any extras on my intake manifold I stripped it bare.

 

Hi, I know I'm new here, but I've been on the other Z forums for a while now. Your problem with running rich may be from not having any emissions equipment hooked up. When I plugged off most of mine with the exception of the PCV valve, my idle was constantly in the 12s or low 13s and my gas mileage was rotten. (on the Z31 setup) Now with all my stuff hooked back up, my idle sits between 14.6-15.4. The only other thing I can think of, is a vacuum leak in your piping somewhere after the mass air flow meter.
