pl521sss
My Sony KV-36XBR800 broke a month ago :(. Been contemplating on getting another XBR cause it's the best TV ever had. Massive 330# flat screen tube. Yes, tube Last of the tubes that Sony made So finally convinced myself to let it go. Went shopping and wanted the best or close to that. I got the Samsung LN52B750 Not disappointed so far Incredible picture beating their own Samsung's LEDLCD line and Sony's XBR9. What do you guys have? I have 30 days to make up my mind and make sure that's it's far superior than the rest of competitor. There's so many technology they put on this devices that it's hard to keep up. ichorid
I have a samsung 47" LCD dont remember which model number, new line as of January 09 I think. Love it. Samsun make the "best" LCD/LED TVs on the market in my opinion. Just stay away from Plasma. Quote Link to comment

Not many ports though but I run everything into my stereo so whatever. I watch movies and tv on my comp, two 21" widescreens. Quote Link to comment
benzo
I had a 42 vizio plasma that lasted me only 3 years and then blew out. got lucky and was able to still return to costco and get my money back. (1600.00). I went out to best buy and costco again then video only and compared prices. I said no more plasma and no more vizio. I was about to buy LG but then I saw the new Sony Bravia and said to myself sony no bologna so i bought a 46" bravia. I am so far cool with it. hope it lasts long. I can tell it runs cooler than the plasma and it does sync with my sony stereo system. TV is a lot lighter since it is a LCD. Since I saw you are in Fremont go check best buy or Video Only I think in Hayward. Quote Link to comment

All manufacturers has cheap models or low end models. So if you compare them to high end to low end models then.... Sony has many good models Quote Link to comment
