Mesh-71
So my dime has 185 60r 14 in the front, 195 60r 14 in the rear. I need new rubber, what has to be done to fit 195's in the front? Is it worth it? Or should I just replace them, leaving them the same? Oh great Ratsun collective- What say you? Quote Link to comment
zhent
depending on your wheel offset, nothing usually has to be done to fit 195's up front. I used to run 195-60R14 up front with 215-60R14 in the back without issue, but went to 205-50R15 all the way around recently... Quote Link to comment
Mesh-71
What does the offset need to be to run 195's in the front? I have no idea what they are but I can measure them when I get home. Quote Link to comment
zhent
you don't mention what wheels you're running. usually a 14" 195 series will fit with anything from a +10 to +20 offset without issue. I've always run the 280zx wheels. These are 14", 195-60 up front, 215-60 in back These are 15", 205-50 all around Quote Link to comment
Mesh-71
they are wannabe centerlines, I will post up some pictures later tonight Nice looking dimes by the way Quote Link to comment
zhent
Nice looking dimes by the way Thanks. They're the same car... And since you have 195 in the back you can always pull one of those off and test fit it up front. I've seen the Centerline knockoffs with 195's on 510s before... Quote Link to comment
Mesh-71
Thanks. They're the same car... Just noticed that, I was using a little pda earlier, hard to see pics on the tiny screen....So nice dime! Quote Link to comment
Mesh-71
Where are lowered dimes going to rub first? The foot well? or somewhere else? Quote Link to comment
Mesh-71
So the wheels are 14x7 +1, I think the 195's will will fit a little massaging of the footwell, Sound right? Quote Link to comment
