cjr198car
Does anyone know where you can front window felt for a 510. the felt and rubber is all old, cracked, and worn (falling out a little). I want to cut down wind noise and have a good snug fit around the drivers side door glass. Any suggestions where to find this stuff??? Thanks! -Colton Quote Link to comment
denveratsun
Geez guys...so many responses! Colton, I wish that I knew more about the parts you need. I need them for my 521 as well. I think that a place called Steele Rubber might make something that would be very close to OEM specs. Check them online. I hope the best for you and your dime man... Hopefully some more folks will jump on and help out! Quote Link to comment

benzo
I can get you some factory window channel felt for about 75.00 for a kit that will do two windows. I can also get some inner squeegees for about 15.00 a side. I am leaving for japan tuesday and will be gone for a couple of weeks. when I get back i should be able to get you what you need if you can wait? Quote Link to comment

Rubberman
JC Whitney. It gives the dimesions of each one. I ordered either no.26 or 27. http://www.jcwhitney.com/ALL-RUBBER-WINDOW-CHANNELS/GP_2009944_N_111+1978+200730065+600003813_10101.jcw Quote Link to comment
hessianben
K. maybe I'm just ghetto, but I might also be a 'ratsun'er'... I took a piece of heater hose and split it down the center... and pushed it into the tracks on either side of the glass (pushed it as far as it would go into the doorframe) and trimmed off the excess.... Voila! instant window rubber! I put another piece at the top of the window and was done! Couldn't believe how much the noise was reduced with out all that rattling! I just couldn't stomach forking out $50 or more for some rubber! This method works perfect, and if you trim carefully, looks clean! ....but that's just me...:D Quote Link to comment

I've been to cheap to spend that much on rubber at this point but I would go for this if it'll work. Quote Link to comment
