datsunaholic Posted March 11, 2009 Report Share Posted March 11, 2009 No, you don't need an adapter plate for that but I would use the original bakelite spacer with that one. I had one on my '74, it worked, kinda. Then the fast idle screw fell out. Supposedly those are/were CA Smog legal, but only if the CARB tag is still on it. You have the air filter adapter so it's generally good to go there. Quote Link to comment
