heres for a matchbox ignitions.

 

your blk/wht wire is the 12volts ON.

Put this to the + side of coil.

also but B of matchbox to the + side of coil. This means you add a piggyback jumper.

 

C of matchbox goes to - side of coil.

 

using this drawing you would use a MSD coil, and remove the ballast resisitor.

 

 

Now not to confuse you more you can run your point coil with ballst resisitor that you have already.

You would just but the B of the matcbox on the + side of the ballast resisitor.

Or where the blk/wht wire is.

 

 

You PM me saying the EI ignition didnt work and got no spark?

You get no spark from the center dissy wire or just dont run.

 

If possibel get help as its hard to know what you have and you install another dizzy and the rotor can be pointing in a diferent direction ect........

 

 

But one thing If you go back to points make sure you runa stock Point coil and ballast resisitor otherwise your points will burn up fast!!!!!!!
