i'm getting the hell out of this datsun crap. tired of having to wait the better part of a week for something simple like points and condensers and having to deal with them anyway. and im sick of 22mpg and no power whatsoever to show for it. tired of daily-driving a project. and dumping 1300 into a car that i'm lucky to be getting 600 back out of. and only because i was saving up for the next time it broke down instead of for a new car (really my only choice).

Datsuns are the best cars I've ever owned. Can be frustrating sometimes, but in my experience they go for ever and parts are extremely easy to get and cheaper than any other make. And there's a wealth of information on this forum. Hard to go wrong with a Datsun.

well a jeep cherokee for instance is about the same cost to operate as this car, and usually similar, often cheaper parts prices. and guess what, everybody carries parts for them everywhere. and i can carry 4 real americans comfortably instead of 4 150lb asians. and its got over twice the power, way safer, and still quite easy to work on. and i dont have to put an entirely different driveline in it to achieve my goals. and the buyer for my car does appreciate it. he has been hounding me for m...
