  1. Definitely! We should hopefully have the swap done in a couple weeks. Trying to figure out front suspension right now.
  2. Skateboard wheel for gas pedal = super badass . nice work on the car man.
  3. Very nice, I have had an 84 318i, 86 325es, 96 328is and currently own an 89 325ix and a 74 2002. So yeah i like BMW's as well as Datsuns. Was gonna buy a 510 but ended up getting a great deal on my 2002. Looking forward to see what you do with the eta.
  4. Nice Dime. You need to get the Motorsport GoPro mount. Works so good. Very stable.
  5. Super rad history behind the car, glad you finally got it!
  6. Really? that would be great, i am in need of several parts/knowledge. Most important is the throttle linkage, its missing a couple random pieces. Im having some trouble with the starter wiring as well, i've just been jumping the starter straight from the battery. Thanks.
  7. ah yeah thanks. im going to make a build thread. but i am waiting till its solid and on the road. its missing one small piece from the throttle linkage. I want to do coilovers if i can afford them. if not probably some stage two IE springs. Also it has a four speed trans, so i would like to swap that. Its definitely gonna be a Rat.
  8. Well I guess im not in need of a car anymore. Just bought a 74 BMW 2002. Got it for 900. Couldn't pass up that deal so i picked it up yesterday. What do you think? I want to go moar lower. maybe motor swap eventually.
  9. nice wagon! did you swap the rear end drive train when you did the SR swap? im in the middle of doing the same motor swap and trying to find a stronger rear end.
  10. I wish my car would sell already. i would for sure buy that dat.
  11. yeah thats what i thought. lots of calls and e-mails, but no sale yet.
  12. working on the wagon.

  13. So official. That four link is proper.
  14. very nice dime. please dont put in the center console. i like it just the way it is.
  15. PS, added some pics.
  16. Jerk it, duh. As for the clearcoat, i'm investigating a por15 (spelling?) clear coat, will update when I find it.
  17. bimmer haus on Alameda?
  18. Yea, funny story. Car came from a tow yard. A kid we know couldn't make the lot fee after the front end got hammered, and some assholes stole all of the IC piping and MAF. But still.. a straight 240 shell with a running blacktop sr...$560.00
  19. This is my roomates '71 wagon were building. Total death-trap build... Stock blacktop SR (Mckinney kit), 4 linked rear possibly with air-ride, he's unsure of where it will end up but here's what we have so far. So this happened tonight: http://s699.photobuc...nt=d19e5910.mp4 <-video We cleaned the living sht out of the engine bay and began sealing 1971 playboy magazines into it for some pussy wagon flair... I dunno, we'll see how it comes out... still a lot of work to do but It's mellow. doing the same thing on the roof of the cab. The exterior of the car is NOT changing in anyway other than ride height and wheels. This coming week we're trying to find a good rear end for the thing. A friend (Chambo) suggested like, a celica rear end or something but were kind of still unsure and haven't invested a lot of time into the matter yet. The Mckinney crossmember, swaybars, and trans mounts are on the way, so as soon as those come in I guess the SR will be coming out (of the donor car) and getting some love. then the 280zx front suspension and brakes i've been told bolts right up? Any input on suspension parts is welcomed. expect updates soon, thanks for reading. <div><br></div><div><div>3/6</div><div></div><div></div></div>
