I get paid on the first,can buy the z brakes and struts then,or willing to trade everthing but the rear coils for a 410 goon project . damb I hate being poor and in need of parts. the worst is your in town

I am not trying to part anything because I need them for the coilovers I have. However ecology has another 280zx, they are in el cajon.

 

For everyone else, I am willing to get out of this project, not because anything is wrong with it, but because it is not for me. I need a finished running car, and it I put anymore time or money into this I know I am not going to get it all back.

 

Offers welcome, just know its a clean 510 chassis with single cam k/a, no interior, just needs some cleaning and paint, comes with tons of cool parts to make it nice.

like it says , my struts are blown so now its time to up grade the brakes and suspension thingys. also need a front bumper, or a life

13bs are nice had one in a 1200, revs up to 11 grand and does wheelies down the strip. then she blew . very costly to fix

they make fierglass bumbers you could get for this.

 

the tail wasnt that bad. I would have left it on than what you did. now you have to paint the whole car.

 

get a grill and lower it and just roll it.

I love this car. just a few things need to be done to make it complete.

 

get a carbon fiber hood and rear lid and you dont have to paint it at all. Be pimpin as is

Just been trying to get it drivablesince its my daily now. the rear had air shocks and was so jacked up it was way white trash, now its just trash. I put my moneys into suspension. now it rides great. you cant tell but the paint is frucked so it will probably turn semi black soon enough. the bumber is there because I park on the st. and people are as-e-. the lights were in the garage for years so now there on a car . the trunk will be replaced and hood also ,and if Arnold would stop taking my money Im lookin for bumpers. the rear is a 1200

Well I now have to drive her everyday. cant wait to get the cabin air tight, get alot of gasses with a big hole cut into the trunk floor. Just recieved some 250 pound spring for the rear so the car will be gettig lower. more too come

Its all good. Its costing us money to not have a useful vehicle around so we're kinda forced into this. And really I put this one back on the road for a year after finding it in Mr Johnson's neighbors hillside stuck in the mud. So it was really off the road years ago(sitting since the mid 80's)... its just a shame no one wants to pick up the ball where we had to drop it. I hope I can find someone that needs a rust free body though. Then at least it will still live on.

Your an honorable man. I dont make lots of $ but have saved a few cars by just having them around because people get in a bind and need things out of the yard and than pass them on too the right worthy person who would sell the car back to me first if things went that way. So far I never bought the same car twice.
