I have not had any luck posting pics on here but i can send you some on email!! privateeradventurer@yahoo.com just got an 86 hardbody 4x4 too having some issues that i have posted hoping for help with, but it is getting there!! I was recently made aware of the goneMOAB [Gathering Of Nissan Enthusiasts@ MOAB] here this last week!![22-27th] gonemoab.com primarily an offroad anual event I don't see why we could not make this into an annual southwest datsun/nissan event!! we could easily get some good support here from the town and tourisim bureau, and this is a great time for parks, rafting etc!! whadda you guys think!! a great excuse for coming to to Moab for folks from the surrounding states!! :cool:

OK checked all the bolts, and i had set the valves to .012 when it was hot per the hood sticker,was wondering if it was an injector pump,no injectors as it has throttle body injection how can i check the timing chain? i know the earlier models had the tensioner by oil pressure, and it sounds most like the chain i think!!

I just got an 86 hardbody 4x4 z24, after 20 yrs with a 620 l20b!! this is kinda diffrent for me,, so can you guys get me up to speed on this z24?? and it's 'electro injection'??? makes a lot of valve type noises adjusted them all but not much diffrence, no cam or other valve wear detectale, seems clean inside, am i hearing something else?? just above idle and up to about 2500rpm mostly,no missing or other barks or howls over 120k tho.:unsure:

Well i only saw 1 Datsun [not entered] at the april action car show, a z car. but i did shine up my 79 210 wagon for the cruising fri and sat nites!! and that was great fun lots of comments, once you see lots of great american iron and rods it's fun to have some basic classics around too!! would like to see some of you guys come into Moab, as i said lots of national and international car clubs have their meets here!! no ongoing shows in the fall, just clubs and groups.may have to sell my wagon and go back to my 620kc tho!!!

OK sorry folks, replied and sent pics to folks that pm'ed me but i've had problems loading pics on here!! so i've had to email them to interested ratsuners!! and i would like to get shipping costs to some of these zips but also had problems getting a fair estimate due to the size and type especially the hood and fender was kinda hoping someone would swoop down and pick up the lot!! been gone a few days!! but i will get some prices for you guys and make another attempt to load pics!!:cool: oh these are taiwan body parts in Moab Ut. tried again but i've never seen the type of pic loading that is on here if you email me at privateeradventurer.yahoo.com i'll get em to you!!

no it's been this way for 2 yrs have not had it out much, just decided to sell my 77 kc and want to fix the rear brakes first!!

I can't get any brake fluid to the rear brakes, it seems that the brake valve is stuck and will not allow any flow, can you get a replacement or disassemble and repair these things??

SKIB is just like that cause all those west coast datsuns all all rusty and decomposed!! can't even dream of the nice 30+year old RUST FREE datsuns we get here in the southwest!! :D

Sure would like to see some Utah datsuns here in MOAB! especially for the car show weekend apr.27-may1
