I'm looking for for the spring and little chrome spring cover that's part of the window crank handle and door opener mechanism it's basically the two pieces that's between the gray plastic piece and the lever itself and possibly the pins that hold the handle on .. Thanks Joe..

Yeah the yellow is just a high build primer, I think I'm set on a shade of green, that's kinda close to an olive, but it will be a custom mix.... Gettin closer that's all I an say for now, and once again thank you Wayno for postin up the pics!

Yep it sure is!! This was a lot of my motivation when I started mine, I don't believe that truck ever ran or drove, but I'm not 100% sure. I heard its in Japan now also, hopefully getting finished!!!

I was just curious if the 320 round hood emblem "D" with "DATSUN" above it is shared with any other Datsuns vehicles, or is this only an emblem That was used on the 320's. I'm not very familiar with Datsun cars for the most part. Thanks

What's up fellas? I'm aligning my fenders and doors so I can do the necessary body work on the truck, I have the door hung and it aligned nicely where it follows the back of the jam perfect and also the rocker, but I have a huge gap between the door and the fender, does this seem normal? It seems there's really no front to back adjustment on the door due to the style hinges they came with. Its all up/down, in/out. I don't have any shims on the back side of the fender so it's as far back as it can go...if anyone can snap and post up a pic of this gap so I could compare that would be great!! Also im unhappy with the way the rocker flows into the fender on the bottom almost like they don't really match... Snap a pic of that too!! ;). Almost seem when they threw these trucks together they didn't worry much about the alignment of the body..... Thanks for any help!! Joe

So I've seen many different configurations of side mirrors on 320's, I've seen them mid fender mounted, rear fender mounted (in front of the door) door mounted, I've seen round mirrors, rectangular mirrors, and I've seen them drivers side only mounted and have seen them on drivers side and also passengers side too. Im curious how they came from factory and what style was used. I've researched and seen many different ways but can't tell which was the original, anybody have more info on this???

No sir, definetly not scrapped!!! It's still in the works, everything just takes so long since I'm doin this major project by my lonesome!!! I've had help along the way no doubt but the overall project I'm doing alone.... I don't know where I last stood, but the frame is completed, smoothed radius'd painted and cleared. It's set aside for now, I have the cab Completly down to bare metal, cab, underside, firewall, inner fenders/rad support, ready for sealer/primer... I have a lot of bolt on parts in primer ready for paint like the control arms, 4- link shocks Alot of "hidden" parts..I'm gettin there still shootin for spring so well see, I'm pretty motivated and work on it probably at least 3-4 days a week in the evening, and most weekends!!! So I'm still really torn on my color for body paint....does anyone know if there is a color chart or a place to find the color options on stock 320's, from way back? I assumed that there were only a handful of colors in production from then. I'm really considering using an original 320 color even tho the truck is highly customized.....feel free to start another title post if anyone has info on the colors... Thanks guys!!!!

Im sure this is a long shot, I'm lookin for the interior trim pieces on the inside upper part of the doors, it runs length wise with the door at the base of the window and the door pull handles bolt thru it.. Not sure if this part has an actual name or not. I'm needing the passenger side one, but will gladly take both sides. This would be for an L320. Thanks Joe Contenta

Yes I have two. if takin a simple measurement was that easy I wouldn't have asked for help, I have the axles pulled on one, and with the backing plates on the other it's hard to get an accurate measurement..

Without me tryin to search for info, does anyone know the length of a 320 rear end from brake drum to brake drum where the wheel mounts up, and also the length for a 520/521?? Thanks fellas!!!

Well I can agree it does get carried away sometimes but that's why they made a "accept friend request" and "delete friend" option:). It's an easy way to keep up with the custom truck scene I'm into...I only got it for truck friends across the u.s..... And the 320 section has been pretty quiet lately!! I usually check it multiple times through out the day and.... Nothin new:(....I know I can start new topics just as well as everyone else!
