  1. I have the front part out of a 720 and the back section is out of a 90's Explorer. I had to cut a section off the explorer part but it fits snugly and can still use the entire MASSIVE inside space. Poor quality pictures are from last summer. Plus cupholders, coin holders and a bunch of little cubby areas.
  2. Yeah, I just don't want to spend the bills for it quite yet
  3. Broke my 2nd one today. I would like to do this as cheap as possible. If not, I'll just swap to a z32 trans. Thank you!
  4. Did you read my first post? I talk about the console. I believe that bench seats were still standard equipment but mine did not come with a bench. Someone swapped for some unknowns a while ago.
  5. Did a little work to the truck last week. Built some leather hood straps. The hood latch works fine so these are really just for the aesthetics right now.
  6. I saw the first picture in another thread and noticed the rear diffuser piece. It looks to me like some sort of spoiler flipped upside down. Every time I have seen one on a car it appears to be the EXACT same style. Does anybody know what it is or where to get one? I like it on the Z but most of the other cars it looks bad. On to the pics!
  7. The worst was the core support. Drilling out all the spot weld while it is on-car is tricky. The donor section wasn't so bad as it was already cut off and lying on the ground. I still haven't permanently mounted it... Just slammed in around 8-10 tec screws.... They back out from time to time. I took my time doing it. It was July, no A/C and a dirt floor. Took me about a month to get it back to running shape again.
  8. I'm broke and did this. Tokico springs and shocks. I like the stock bumpers but I want to trim out the square bumper extension things out and make it a little smoother. This was in an accident so I've been just slowly going toward the "rat" side of things with it.
  9. Not sure where to post this exactly (or if at all..) but here is a decent looking 521 for parts in Chicago. http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/pts/3304117608.html
  10. Just the basic Tokico HP shocks/spring combo all the way around. ST stabilizer bars front and rear. Poly bushings in the front (have to do rear still. Have aluminum subframe bushings to install). I slotted the front strut tower for more camber and caster. Rota RB-R 17x9 (215/50R17...Ford Focus tires... just for daily driving and mucking about..Free!) in front and 17x9.5 rear (255/40R17). Plans for some Koni race valve shocks/struts in a coilover setup in the future. Also, fender flares and adding a few inches to the lips of the rims...
  11. A buddy of mine is just getting into video/photography. We just built a cheap-o slider to use in video making and he quick put this together with the first test shoot. Hope you enjoy!
  12. Well, I got most of the pull sorted. Alignment was definitely needed. -0.6* caster & +1.7* camber on the right side! Added some shims to the upper control arm and now it matches the left side. Still have a mild pull when brakes are applied but that will get sorted later. New oics time! First shot was taken by my photographer buddy. Sneaky little bugger! Second was the ever so amzazing blackberry camera phone...
  13. Last few days I have been tinkering away. Got the front and rear lowered 3". Also, I built an airdam of sorts. I cam a cross a Ford Exploder front airdamn which I then chopped a chunk off of and attached to the 620. I think it looks like it was meant to be there. I just need to find a way to make it a bit less flimsy... I do have a question (for anyone reading this).. Since I lowered the truck (torsion bars), I have developed a nasty pull to the right. This is made worse by applying the brakes. I pulls into the other lane and if I let go of the wheel, the steering wheel will turn over 180 degrees. What could be causing this? I didn't notice anything broken and I checked the brakes (disc) for proper operation. They seem to move and they both hold strong and release when supposed to. Any ideas? Pixors later..
