ppeters914 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 On my '89 Trooper, I used a breaker bar & socket to pry the tension pulley back to loosen the belt for removal/replacement. Dunno if it changed 10 years later. Should be obvious. If not, refer to the manual, ask a parts guy (the older one), and/or an Izuzu forum. Heck, they were mostly Chevy engines.
