650savag Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 Yeah, I've seen this all before. Vent tube blowing oil everywhere under the hood! Definately ring blow-by if your crankcase is pressuring up this much! Time for a ring job or better yet an engine re-build. Good news is these Datsuns, especially L20b's, are certainly worth the money and effort to do a re-build. "Keep on Truckin"! Quote Link to comment

79datsun620 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 close 1/4 in.brass nipple and a brass 1/4 in.90 degree fitting. the block of plate is 1/4 aluminium and i just drilled a hole with a 1/2 bit and its hard to find pipe taps so i just screwed the nipple in without even tapping the hole and it worked out great.for the pcv pipe i robbed one off of a z24 and modified it a little bit cause i lost mine.
