Bugeye Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 when I was cleaning up the rear end housing today I found on the driver side axle tube stamped L R 5. Is that how many shims are supposed to be on the axle shaft where it bolts to the housing? When I removed the axles there were 5 shims on each side, so thats why Im thinking that. Am I right or is it just by chance that there are that many shims on each side? Quote Link to comment
