Using Oscilloscope to Probe the Mixture Control Solenoid Circuit

I had some free time this weekend so I thought I'd make a video that shows how the duty cycle of the mixture solenoid changes under different driving conditions! I can't say my narration is the greatest, though.

 

I'm running the usual 82C thermostat and used an IR gun to verify that the intake manifold temp stabilizes around the same temperature.

It's the solenoid that partially controls fuel flow to the primary barrel in the carburetor. This is in addition to the fixed main jet in the carburetor.
