I can't find where this little brass plug goes, and the truck does not respond to idle adjustment srew anymore, I feel like it's running lean, and will bog down around mid gas pedal push. I have a camping trip Sunday and need to figure this out! 😠Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted August 17 Report Share Posted August 17 Listen near the rear of the carburetor and don't start, but turn ignition on off, on off. You should hear a soft clicking sound. This is the idle cut solenoid working. If not working there will be no fuel getting to the idle circuit. Won't idle below about 1,200 RPMs.See if the Red wire (idle cut solenoid) and the Blue wire automatic choke and connected. Â Â Quote Link to comment
