STAY RAD!
Just scored and fitted a brush guard on my 86 720 but I'm missing the braces from the front bumper to the top mounting points of the bull bar. Anyone got some photos or measurements of such part to complete the install? 1 Quote Link to comment
powderfinger
Was this brush guard designed for a 720 or are you using one made for another truck? I am asking because I have a 4x4 720 I am fixing up and would like a brush guard for it but ones made for the 720 are getting hard to find. I'm hoping one off another model truck would fit with little to no modifications required. Quote Link to comment
STAY RAD!
Pretty certain it's designed for 720. Sorry, can't help you regarding fit of other brush guards. 1 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Drivers side between rad support and bumper. It bolts to the bumper bracket. Edited September 17, 2020 by Lockleaf 2 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Inside engine bay looking down on mount. It bolts to the same place as the bumper. It fits inside the bumper bracket. Edited September 17, 2020 by Lockleaf 3 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
If you remove the bumper brackets you can do most of the bracket building on those. You could even simply weld something to they bumper bracket for the Bush Bar to bolt to. 2 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
One of my lower mounts got bent a while back so my bush bar is just chilling for now. I have the same model you do. 1 Quote Link to comment
STAY RAD!
@Lockleaf would you mind measuring the length/standoff from the bumper bracket and diameter of tube to which bull bar would attach? Much appreciated! 1 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
The tube is 1.5 inches in diameter. From inside of bumper bracket to end of tube is 2.5 inches. This shows 2 3/8 because the bull bar bracket is 1/8 thick and the ruler is on top of that 1/8. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
The center of the pipe (center of the bull bar mounting point) is 1.5 inches up from the lower edge of the bumper opening. Photo angle makes that hard to see, but you get the idea. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
