Bandit240
Ok, ive had 3 620 trucks in the last 5 years. They have all had the same right front fender. I got the fender in 2003 on my '79, then it got stuck on my '76 when the bondo fell off its fender in 2004 and then in 2005 when i got my '78, the old man had hit a gaurdrail so it needed a RFF. That fender has about 10 coats of paint on it. '79, note that little dent in front of the light. '76, theres the dent. '78, still there. If i ever get another 620, even if its RFF is ok, i will put that one on there. Quote Link to comment
pope_face
Hahaha, that's awesome. :D If it were me I'd keep a little list on the inside of the fender, saying all the trucks I ever had it on. Are you ever going to strip it down to bare metal, or are you just going to keep adding topcoats? I take it the Datsun emblem and light haven't changed either. Quote Link to comment
Llittle_Llama
'76, theres the dent. isnt this the one you painted with a roller? Quote Link to comment
Bandit240
I have swapped the emblem out. The light is the same one thats been on it the whole time. It needs some decent work to smooth it out. When i first got it, it looks like someone did body work with a 4'' grinder on it. Right now it needs a new coat of blue, the yellow is starting to show on top. Quote Link to comment
Bandit240
No that was brush painted. A buddy, my girlfriend and me all got out there and just started painting. Quote Link to comment
Bob3
You need to be like me and just hang it on the garage wall. That thing is part of the family! Quote Link to comment
