I was looking for Christmas presents, and am looking for the end bumper caps on the front bumper. Since they are chipping and black, I'd love to get chrome ones like the ones from 83 and up. would they fit on my 81 bumper? They have them on capartswholesale.com and would love to put them on. Oh, btw, did anyone ever use the wal mart bed liner? Quote Link to comment
jesusno2 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Share Posted November 16, 2008 No they will not fit in fact the whole front sheetmetal is different the 83 and up the grill is taller the bumper is bigger and the front splash pan mounts different as the headlight buckets are also mounted lower on the core support. I went through all this last year with my 720 I had to drill holes etc etc modify the headlight buckets and core support to fit the later grill it was a lot of work. Quote Link to comment
