VG30DETT in a 620?

I got a wrecked 94 TT 300ZX, and I've been thinking about putting the motor into a 620...

 

What do you guys think? Does anyone know of someone who has done it? I'd like to see a writeup, or a build up if someone know of one.

 

What do you think it would cost to do the swap alone? What problems would I run into...etc?

just remember that there is such a thing as too much power what were you planing on doing with it ?

The plan is to turn it into a drag truck.

The exhaust plumbing would be a nightmare with the 620 torsion bars, cross brace and the one piece steering column. Anything is do-able but... it's not can it be done, it's, should it be done. I'm sure there's a VG 620 out there, but TT... "get-atta-here" :D

I think I'm gonna do it. I don't yet have a 620, but I'm in the market. I can't believe they're so cheap. Again if anyone knows of a writeup or a buildup of a VG30DE or a VG30DETT, I'd really like to see it.

Try for a '78 and up as they have front disc brakes. You'll need that.

I saw a write up, where someone used a GM vented rotor, and GM single piston calipers on a 620 in which little modification was needed to clear the gm rotors on the 620 hubs.
